Three flasks are designed to check the horizontal, vertical and 45 degrees, the error is 1 mm / m (0.057 degrees).

To determine the vertical deviation of 90 degrees, it is necessary to use the vial ampoule only in the upper position of the level. Only the base surface is working (opposite to the ampoule 180 degrees).
